Beautiful Nollywood actress Stella Damascus, has added some veteran voice to the rampant trend of going nude to feel sexy.
The actress who condemned the behavior, said that women can actually look sexy in a pair of jeans and sweat shirt.
“I will say it again, you don’t have to be nude or vulgar in your appearance to be sexy. The way you carry yourself even in a pair of jeans and a sweat shirt can make heads turn. Your confidence can be sexy. Your smile can be sexy. Your voice can be sexy. Even your eyes alone can make you sexy. Don’t show it all or put everything out there to be sexy. You are enough my dear.”
Hopefully, when celebrities like Stella lend thrifty voice to issues like this, they will become the voice of reason to this generation.
Social media influencer relationship host Joro Olumofin has frowned seriously on the practice of women who ask men money for hair, iPhone, Dubai tickets, makeup kits and other frivolities.
He said he believes that men are women are born equal and as such, women should not even ask money from men, but when they do, they should ask for things that ban change their lives.
He advised that women seek money for land instead of buying things that add no value to their lives.
He said “please ladies, from now on, if you’re the type to ask guys for things, please ask for land, 500k loan, employment, school fees, business capital or partnership. Ask for a purpose if you’re going to ask for anything at all, don’t ask to remain the same, ask to change.”
Ladies, what are your thoughts on his comments? Guys do you agree?
An insider in one of the Cross River State beauty pageantry has gone on Facebook to reveal the scam of the show organizers who presented the winner of the pageant competition with a car during the event for pictorial purposes but have since refused to release the car to her.
According to the Facebook user George Odok Jnr, the pageantry is for Boki LGA of Cross River State and the car was awarded to her on 13th December, 2019 but since then she hasn’t taken delivery of the car.
Full details below:
Please, the organisers of Banjuare Boki Festival should hand over the car awarded to the winner of the contest for her personal use as the reigning queen of Boki.
It is sad, very sad and unpleasing to hear that the organisers only awarded the car to her for pictorial purpose whereas the queen has no access to car that carries her image and crown.
I dont want to go far into the kangaroo arrangement that almost played out for the Mr Boki who has no car till date.
The car should be handed over to her, whether she knows how to drive or not, that’s a lame excuse from the organisers. It’s sad that Miss Boki is still trekking when the whole world knows that she was awarded a car on the 13 of December, 2019 in Calabar.
The respected former Attorney General of Cross River State, Barr. Attah Ochinke, wont be happy with the organisers when he finds out that the queen has no access to her car, after he (Attah) made the presentation of the car to the queen.
I give the organisers one week ultimatum to return back the car to the queen else, the public and the entire Boki nation will open their eyes to new truth.”
